“This is so ridiculous. Nothing involves anything illegal or inappropriate and can happen to anyone in any position of leadership or authority. Some guy, who doesn’t even leave his last name, randomly calls you up and says you’re “fired?” He doesn’t even have the dignity to use his last name like a secret committee.”-Malcolm Armstrong

“Hi Reggie. We spoke on Saturday outside of the Co-op about your situation at the PSFC. I came back home and told your story to my wife. “Is he Black?” was her first question. “They would never to that to a white guy” was her comment. My wife is very brown and very aware of racial discrimination. I really hope she is wrong but she is normally right. Do you think there is a racial bias in the Co-op’s decision? BTW, she loves music and knew exactly who you are.”-Arturo Cubria

“Thanks for your good fight, great music and solid style.”-Kate and Matt Caldwell

“I believe Due Process is a necessary condition for fairness. Without it, fairness is not possible. Reggie should be allowed to get a hearing.”-Zvi Aranoff

“I don’t like the feel of this at all. Nonsense and Trumpy kinda. If the amendment was passed then give him his due. Music is always playing at the Co-op so I’m finding this insane. Sometimes I truly dislike the Co-op and our guardians of justice. Cut the crap and let the man have his day in Co-op Court. You guys take yourselves too seriously.”-Bisi Idera

“I believe the Co-op should revisit its grievance procedures and act to help Reginald Ferguson be able to address his dismissal as squad leader. I’m sure the Co-op can easily do this. It doesn’t require a vote but would require they revisit whatever complaint was made against him to begin with in an orderly process. That sounds fair to me, so why not do it?”-Ashley Kidd

“The right to due process is essential to fair play.”-Regina McHenry

“This sounds like it is taking place in Russia! Loosen up Co-op committee and deal fair and square! This doesn’t sound like a difficult situation to solve without barracuda tactics.”-Kathryn Drummer

“I am a Co-op member in good standing and have worked on Reggie’s squad for years. Whatever the reasons or grievances that have been lodged against any member of the Co-op, I believe in the right to due process and a hearing. I was surprised to hear the Disciplinary Committee of the PSFC had no such process in place until Reggie made it an agenda item and it passed recently. All he is asking for is for his right to have a hearing.”-Ami Pak

“I have been working next to Reggie for many years, possibly 10 or longer, and have seen him run the shift professionally and efficiently. I understand there was some issue over the volume of the music played on the shift, but I assure you, Reggie was not unreasonable, and when members asked him to lower the music, he always compiled.”-Beth Kapocias

“I think the Co-op doesn’t deserve you as a Squad Leader.”-Beth Eastman
